My mission is to support young athletes in reaching their goals by helping them develop a healthy and sustainable mental process.

I’ve held multiple Head Coach positions in world class programs across the country. Most recently, I’ve worked with the USAC to organize the annual Youth Festival (as Assistant Coach in 2022 and Head Coach in 2023) & was awarded the opportunity to join the coaching staff for the US Youth National Team in the 2023 IFSC Youth World Championship. I’m currently an independent mental performance coach based in Brooklyn, NY.

With 17 years of coaching experience and a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology, I’ve supported athletes in reaching their goals at the national & international levels.

I also love cats. Like, a lot

TESTIMONIALS

Zoe helps me step back and analyze my headspace in the moments I perform well and then develop techniques to replicate that. Most importantly, she’s invested in her athletes and loves what she does.

—Rascal Kemble-Curry,
Youth Climber and coach-in-training

Zoe is focused on growing the whole climber from the inside out. Her holistic approach encompasses mental skills, emotional skills, positive team culture, challenging yet age appropriate workouts, and smart strategies towards getting the kids more technically competent and confident. Most importantly, Zoe wants Bex to love climbing when he’s a teenager and well into adulthood - she’s instilling a love of the sport beyond this season’s competitions or regional rankings.

—Stephanie Creaturo
mother of National Qualifier Bex Ballow

Zoe is essential for any athlete wanting to incorporate mindset work alongside physical training. Through twists and turns, tough calls and careful navigation, Zoe helps my daughter continue to cultivate a strong and healthy mindset. Their work together results in productive daily habits from crushing outdoor projects all the way to preparing for competing at Youth World Championships.
